Wild Water TR

Well got up this morning with plans on fishing an undesignated stream all day. This plan changed after I fished it for about an hour. I didn't see a single fish, nor spook one. If I hadn't ever fished the stream before I would swear up and down it was sterile. So I then headed further up the mountain to another stream, when I got there it was 25 degrees with gusts of wind up to 45 mph's.... not the ideal conditions for fly fishing. I managed 3 bows all day between battling the iced up guides.

Delayed Harvest

Well I headed up yesterday for a half day of fishing. Fishing was extremely slow. I did manage to get the skunk off early in the day. About half way through the section I was fishing I hooked into about a 20 inch bow. When I lifted the rod tip he barely moved. But soon after the hook up he rolled over my line snapping the 7x. I caught a few fish through the day, the biggest being around 16-17". I was fishing a 3 weight with 7x and a squirmy wormy. Welp headed back up again in a few minutes, maybe I'll catch a beast.
